In this special issue, the articles cover various domains in which possessive constructions are attested in a large set of Romance varieties: while the first studies center on the nominal possessive systems, subsequent contributions concern adverbial and verbal possessive cases. As such, this special issue is the first to deal with such a wide array of phrasal contexts in which the possessive constructions can appear.
